I consider myself lucky to have gotten Val, his wonderful nature, and his beautiful pedigree to start our herd off right.  Val is exactly what I imagined when, as a teenager, I dreamed of having goats.  He is the size of a dog, very affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and a bit headstrong at times.

I am heartbroken to report that our herd sire Val died recently in a terrible accident with the electric netting.  The upcoming birth of his kids is bittersweet as we know they are his last.  We have decided to wait a while to find a new herd sire.
