Surprise! 3 new goats!

Well, it's not really a surprise to people who know me. We recently purchased 2 pregnant goats but had to finish building their hoop house, so waited a week to pick them up. When we got there the younger one had already kidded! It is her first kid, a tiny little boy. After a 2 hour car ride home in my mom's lap, he is best friends with every person he meets. Right now he lives with his mom and pregnant grandma. He gives his grandma no respect:

I need to teach him some manners, huh?

UPDATE:

His mom and grandma are still a bit skittish and I don't trust them to go back into their pen for us yet, but that doesn't keep us from getting Tigger out. He needs a chance to stretch his legs and play with Winnie's baby boy, Valentine.

Here's his first introduction to some of the herd. It gives a glimpse of why we named him Tigger!:

(He's bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!)
